I learned it only takes three days to get to the moon. Well, if you have a rocket. And it would take you three days to get back home too. So if you’re going to visit the moon, you’ll need to plan for six days of travel. That’s not so bad. We could read books and play games like we do when we take a road trip in the car. Maybe not the license plate game.

I’ve been looking at the moon and I’ve noticed that it looks like it’s made of swiss cheese. It may look like it’s made of cheese, but it’s not really. The moon is mostly made of rock and metal, just like the Earth. I’ve also noticed that the size of the moon changes. Some nights the moon looks big and round like a grapefruit. Some nights it looks like only half a grapefruit. And sometimes it looks like a banana! All this talk about the moon is making me hungry!
