January Fun

Happy January, ScribbleFriends!

I’ve been thinking about asking my neighbor, Mrs. Scribbly, to teach me how to knit. You see, she’s an expert at knitting and I want to make sweaters for the squirrels that are running around outside in my yard. They always look so cold this time of year hanging out in the trees without their leaves. My dad says that the squirrels are fine because they grow extra fur in the winter and build nice, warm nests for houses, but they still look cold to me.

ScribbleBunny thinks we should knit socks for the squirrels instead. In either case, he says we would have a hard time catching the squirrels to get the socks or sweaters on them. He might be right. Maybe there’s a reason why you never see squirrels in sweaters. I think I’m going to ask Mrs. Scribbly to teach me how to knit anyway.

Do you have squirrels in your yard? Are any of them wearing sweaters?

Your pal,

ScribbleMonster’s Special Guest of the Month is…

… ScribbleSheep! Now there’s somebody who doesn’t need a sweater. Unless you want to draw them a sweater. That might be fun!  It’s all up to you. I can’t wait to see what your ScribbleSheep looks like!

You can print out this coloring page to make your own ScribbleSheep. Who will be my next Special Mystery Guest? Check back in February to see!
