Happy New Year, ScribbleFriends!
Did you do anything special to ring in the New Year? I did. I got to stay up past my bedtime and bang on pots and pans and yell “HAPPY NEW YEAR”! In my family we celebrate before midnight because my little sister and I would never be able to keep our tired eyes open that long. It was really fun even though our noisemaking was early! We also made toast.
I hope you have some nice family memories from the holidays last month and that you got everything on your list. I did. I asked for:
a yo-yo, a jump rope, some books, more art supplies- and I got them all! I must have been extra good this year!
In January it is so cold where I live. We have a lot of snow piled up already. What is the weather like where you live? I hope you get to enjoy some outdoor activities this month, whether it’s cold or warm where you are!
