Happy January, ScribbleFriends!
I got a lot of great gifts for Christmas. Now I’ve been making pictures and writing thank you notes for everyone who sent me a gift. When my dad suggested that my sister and I write thank you notes, we really weren’t that excited about it. But then we got started… who knew it could be so much fun? I’ve been making each card unique by drawing a picture of the gift on it. Everyone who received one of my homemade thank you notes said it made them feel really special (just like I felt when I opened their present).
Saying thank you is fun. And everyone will think you’re polite. Everyone likes to be thanked – and the best part is, you can always write a thank you note, not just at Christmastime. Do you have anyone you should thank? Maybe you could make them a picture too.

…a squirrel wearing a sweater. My pals and I saw the squirrels looking so cold that we decided to make them sweaters. We can’t wait until summer comes – we’re going to give the squirrels haircuts!
