July Fun

Happy July, ScribbleFriends!

Extra! Extra! Read all about it! The very first edition of the ScribbleGazette is here! My friends and I started our very own newspaper. We thought it would be fun to be reporters, write stories and draw pictures with our free time this summer.

Our top story was about the block party we’re having next week. ScribblePiggy listed all the games and activities that are planned and wrote about all the fun we had last year. I made a comics page with silly pictures and jokes. ScribbleKitty interviewed Mrs. Scribbly next door and asked her both funny and interesting questions. ScribbleBunny got excited when we said we needed someone to write about the Sox. He wrote a story about all kinds of different things you can make with socks. It wasn’t really what we were looking for, but it was a lot of fun anyway.

We made copies of our paper and delivered them to everyone on the block. Hey, you could make your own newspaper, too!

What will your top story be? Who would you like interview?

Your pal,
ScribbleMonster

ScribbleMonster’s Special Guest of the Month is…

… ScribbleLion! Did you know that lions have amazing eyesight? They can see about five times as far as we can. They also have super hearing and can hear you coming from a mile away! And when they roar? You can hear it up to five miles away! Sounds more like a superhero to me.

You can print out this coloring page to make your own ScribbleLion. Who will be my next Special Mystery Guest? Check back in August to see!
