Happy Summer Vacation, ScribbleFriends!

Finally! Summer Vacation is here! I love being outside in the summer. My favorite things to do are swim and play baseball. What fun summer things do you like to do?

My pals and I use to play “Boys Against the Girls” for baseball, but the girls always won. Now we make the girls split up, so ScribbleKitty is on my team and ScribblePiggy is on ScribbleBunny’s team. It’s more fair this way. Sometimes my dad brings out some lemonade for us and lets my little sister watch us play, but she doesn’t really understand baseball yet. She mostly just sits and drools.

If we get too hot during a game, we all take a break and jump in the pool. We have a baby pool in our yard for my sister and a big kid pool that’s perfect for me and my friends – it’s just big enough for all of us and it’s not too deep. Sometimes my dad sets up the sprinkler for us, too.
