March Fun
Happy March, ScribbleFriends!
Boy, was my dad mad at me last week! He said he was “disappointed” in my behavior, but he sure acted like he was mad. He said just because I am a monster is not a license to act like one. It all started because I refused to respond when a grown-up greeted me. My dad told me I was being rude and disrespectful, and that I should always answer when someone greets me. He explained that not answering a person makes them feel unimportant.
I felt really bad about it, so this whole month we’re going to work on my social skills. It’s really fun. I’m learning how to be polite and all about the magic words – “please” and “thank you”. We’ve been practicing in all different kinds of situations so I’ll feel comfortable no matter what comes up!
Thank you for reading my newsletter. Please come back soon!
Your polite pal,
ScribbleMonster
ScribbleMonster’s Special Guest of the Month is…
…my dad, Mr. ScribbleMonster! People at his work call him Mr. ScribbleMonster, but I just call him Dad. He loves me and always makes sure I am clean, safe and well-fed. My dad has a booming voice and bushy eyebrows. He likes to ice skate.
You can print out this coloring page to make your own Mr. ScribbleMonster. Who will be my next Special Mystery Guest? Check back in April to see!
