Happy May, ScribbleFriends!
My pal ScribbleBunny came over for dinner last night. It was fun having one of my friends as a guest at the table with the rest of my family. I even got to pick what we had for dinner! My grandma let me help her make scalloped potatoes and ham, which is my favorite! ScribbleBunny never had it before and I was worried because he can be a picky eater. But he tried it, and he liked it! He even had seconds!
After dinner, we played some board games. But we were hardly bored! Actually, ScribbleBunny was getting so into it, that he was starting to scare me. I think they should call them “spirited, make you want to win, competitive games”. I guess that’s kind of a mouthful. Maybe they call them board games to help keep the competition under control.
My sister gets to invite one of her friends over for dinner next week. My dad said that we just might make having a dinner guest a weekly routine. That would be pretty neat.

… my new friend, ScribbleOctopus! Octopuses have four pair of arms! That makes… let’s see, two in a pair… that would be four times two…. eight arms! If I had eight arms, I could play the guitar, the tambourine, eat a sandwich and wash my hair all at the same time! Octopuses are so lucky!
