September Fun
Happy September, ScribbleFriends!
I’ve noticed that my dad always wants to play The Quiet Game. That’s the game where everyone has to stay still and be quiet for as long as they can. If you make noise or move around, you’re out. It’s kind of fun, but honestly, I can’t understand why it would be my dad’s favorite game. There are so many better games to play.
One of my favorites is The Laughing Game, which is almost the opposite of The Quiet Game. It’s actually a fun game to play at the dinner table. Then again, my dad says The Quiet Game is a good game to play at the dinner table, too. We all like different things I guess, and that’s okay.
In The Laughing Game everyone tries not to laugh while at the same time attempting to make others laugh. You can say silly things, make funny faces or do whatever you think will make people laugh. My sister always laughs at herself and is the first one out. The best part of the game is when it gets down to the last two players. It’s awfully hard not to laugh when everyone else in the room is laughing.
Would you rather play The Quiet Game or The Laughing Game? What’s your favorite game to play?
Your pal,
