September Fun
Happy September, ScribbleFriends!
September is an exciting month for me. I’m back at school and I have a new backpack! It’s really bright colors all swirled together. My grandma says it makes her dizzy to look at it. My dad says the only thing that matters is that I like it, and that it holds all the things I need for school.
I like being back in my school routine. When I come home, I hang up my backpack so my dad can look at my papers when he gets home from work. Then I have a snack. Depending on what day of the week it is, either my grandma or Mrs. Scribbly next-door watches us until my dad gets home, so that means we get different kinds of snacks. My grandma lets us have pretzels or cheese cubes or raisins. Mrs. Scribbly makes lemon cookies and brownies, which I like better, but my grandma always has interesting things planned for us to do, so it evens out. Do you have a babysitter?
Until next month,
Your pal,
ScribbleMonster
ScribbleMonster’s Special Guest of the Month is…
…me on my first day of school! My dad always takes a picture of me and my sister on our first and last days of the school year. Then he says, “Look how much you’ve grown!” or something like that.
You can print out this coloring page to make your own picture of me. Who will be my next Special Mystery Guest? Check back in October to see!
